Thank you for joining us for our time of worship here at Chapel City Church. As we study the Word of God, we are constantly reminded that His ways are not our ways. And because His word is true, authoritative, and unchanging, it is able to provide wisdom and comfort even during the most trying times. As we approach the end of Matthew 6, we are given the teaching of Jesus Christ concerning anxiety. All of us struggle with worry at some point in our lives. For some, this might be during times of physical or financial strain. For others, anxiety is a near constant companion. How is a disciple of Jesus called to deal with worry, even over the basic needs and necessities of life? What do we know that makes it possible to have peace and even confidence during chaotic times? We know that this is an area that many of us struggle with. If there is a way that we can be praying for you specifically this week, please reach out to us and let us know. We love you, we are praying for you, and our great desire is to strengthen your faith in the God who calls us, redeems us, and secures our eternal inheritance.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25
