The Disciple & Anxiety, part 2

The Disciple & Anxiety, part 2

We are excited to have the opportunity to begin to meet together once again in some capacity! We recognize that attending in person is still not possible for many, and we want you to know that we are praying for you and that our desire is to continue to minister to you during this time. The last 4 months have provided a host of unknowns. Regulations change, plans change, even some of the data that we rely on to make decisions seems to be fluid at best at times. This uncertain scenario provides a potential avenue for anxiety in our lives. And at one point or another, it’s something we have all struggled with. But we have not been left without instruction or tools in the battle against worry. In Matthew 6, Jesus commands his disciples not to be anxious. But how do we get there? If our faith is challenged by worry, how do we strengthen our faith to fight our fear? Our hope is that as we go through these verses that you will be encouraged and strengthened. We pray you will be reminded of the sovereign power of God, and of his tender care for His people. If there is a way that we can be praying for you specifically, please reach out and let us know!

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33
