The Exchange

Thank you for joining us this evening. Good Friday gives us the opportunity to slow down and reflect in the middle of a busy season of celebration. We were made in the image of God and designed for fellowship with him. But sin broke that relationship. We stood as enemies of God, anticipating not only physical death, but judgment and separation from him for eternity. For the wages of sin is death. But God, rich in mercy, made a way for us to be reconciled to him. On Good Friday we remember the price that was paid to redeem us from our slavery to sin and death. We remember the exchange that took place. Our death for Christ’s life. Our filthiness for His righteousness. And as we remember, we are called to worship and obedience.
