Although he is one of the longest of the minor prophets, Zechariah is also one of the most overlooked. His messages point toward an ultimate hope for the people of God, but those messages often come in unusual ways. There are visions and prophetic statements that require us to think and study well. But there are treasures that await us in this remarkable book. Like almost nowhere else in Scripture, Zechariah reminds us that God Remembers!
The Lord was very angry with your fathers. Therefore say to them, Thus declares the Lord of hosts: Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
