Welcome to Chapel City Church! We are so glad that you have joined us for our time of worship today. Last week, we opened the book of Nahum and saw the promise of God to deal with the sins of Nineveh. Because he is holy, because he is just, God cannot ignore sin. He will deal with the sins of Israel and Judah as his people, but he will also deal with the sins of the nations. As we move into Nahum 2 and 3, we are going to get a clearer picture of what’s coming for Nineveh and why. But how do we know that God will keep his word? How do we know that prophecy, whether it’s toward Nineveh or anyone else, will actually come to pass? The reality is that we can look at human history and see a constant testimony of the power and faithfulness of God. He will do exactly what he says he will do, and he will always do what is just and right.
