Which Way?

Which Way?

We have come to the end of another school year, and we have come to the end of our study in the Book of Colossians. For the next few months, we will be working through the Psalms on Sunday mornings. As we study the praise songs of God’s people, we are going to be reminded of why they are so relevant, instructive, and comforting even today. The Psalms remind us that God is not only with us in times of joy and times of sorrow, but that he has a plan and a purpose in these things. The Psalms remind us of what God is like, and why he is always worthy of our praise and worship. The Psalms show us what it means to live rightly, and to pursue the wisdom that God alone provides. As we open Psalm 1 this week, that call to wise living is where we will begin. What does the life of a good and righteous man look like? What kinds of things do they avoid, and what kinds of things do they pursue? And what does God promise for those who live obediently? We hope that you are encouraged, convicted, and challenged as we study God’s living word. If you have questions, or if there is something that we can be praying about with you, please reach out and let us know.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:1-2
