There aren’t too many people who will be sorry to see 2020 in the rearview mirror. We’ve been getting hit from so many sides at once and feel like we can’t take another blow – but they just keep coming. We need wisdom to know how we should live in the midst of it all. Fortunately, wise living isn’t something that is reserved only for sages or scholars. James 3:13-18 is wisdom for us commoners. With so many voices vying for our attention, we need God’s Word to show us how to live in these hard times.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
