Real Righteousness: Prayer

Real Righteousness: Prayer

Good morning and welcome to Chapel City Church! We are thrilled to be able to begin thinking through what it looks like for us to be able to gather again in person on Sunday mornings. We recognize that it will be a long road to get back to “normal,” but we know that the Lord directs and oversees every step of the process. We hope that whether you worship with us in person or online, that your faith is being strengthened and your anticipation of the coming of the King is growing day by day. This week we will move back into Matthew 6 and begin looking at prayer. What distinguishes righteous prayer from hypocritical prayer? What does the prayer of a kingdom citizen look like? How can we strengthen and motivate our own private prayer life? Please know that we are praying for you during these challenging times, and that we would love to know how we can do that more specifically, or how we can minister to a need that you might have. Reach out and let us know!

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Matthew 6:6
